Principal's Bio

Mrs. Tamara Morgan began her educational career as a social studies and language arts teacher on the former campus of West Coffee Middle School for six years.  She taught sixth grade there until she came to Indian Creek and taught fourth and fifth grade students for four years.  While at ICE, she was selected as Indian Creek's Teacher of the Year as well as Coffee County's Teacher of the Year in 2005-2006.

In 2007, Mrs. Morgan returned to West Coffee Middle where she spent half of the year teaching English Language Arts and the remainder of that year serving as Academic Coach.  At the end of the 2008 school year, she was hired as the Assistant Principal of Instruction at Satilla Elementary School. She worked as API at Satilla Elementary until 2015 when she was hired as the principal of Indian Creek Elementary.

Mrs. Tamara Morgan is the wife of Terry Morgan and mother to Lee and Ashton.  She is very active in her church, Douglas Christian Fellowship Church of God as well as in our community.
